Kawasaki mounted Michael Pearson will contest the 2010 Horice Road Races in the Czech Republic next May, with the Ballygowan rider taking both the Morrell Kawasaki ZX10, and the CF Kawasaki Supersport machine to the eastern block races.

Pearson, who will not compete in the North West 200 the week previous to the Horice races, is looking forward to yet another new meeting to him.

Pearson finalised his decision on Saturday morning before jetting of to the Macau Grand Prix, where Pearson will be contesting his first MGP on the BTS Honda Fireblade that was previously ridden by Guy Martin.

Michael Pearson:  "I have heard alot about the Horice road races, and Willis Marshall set about finding out more about it.   Victor Gilmore and a few others who have taken in the meeting where always singing the praise's about this event, so while I can, I want to have a crack at it.  Looking at the costs of doing the Horice Road Races, it will work out no more expensive than doing the North West 200, which as you know is not one of my favourite meetings, so I have decided to give the NW200 a miss and travel to the Czech Republic in 2010 where I intend taking in both the Supersport and Superbike races".

Willis Marshall (Team Manager)  "This is yet another new venture for the team, and from what I can gather, there will be quite alot of Irish riders making their way to Horice in 2010.  It has grown in popularity over the years, and it will be nice to be able to travel to a new venue and take in the local road racing scene in Horice.   I have been meet with nothing but positives from the organisers of the event, so all in all, it should be a very interesting meeting".
