PEARSON SET FOR THUNDERSPORT GB

Lisburn rider Michael Pearson will make his debut this weekend in the second round of the 2014 Thundersport GB Championships at the 2.48 mile Donington Park circuit in Leicestershire.

Pearson, who will be contesting the GP1 class for Superbike machinery will ride the Northern Escalator Installations ZX10 Kawasaki under the Hotties Road Racing banner.

With a successful pre season shake down under his belt on the NEI Motorsports ZX10 Kawasaki in Spain last month, this weekend will be Michaels first race in earnest on the Kawasaki Superbike.

Michael Pearson:  "I am really looking forward to this weekend, in what will be my first race proper on the Northern Escalator Installations Kawasaki Superbike.   After the Spain test last month I knew right away that this was the bike to have this year....it is simply the best Superbike I have ridden.

It is my intention to take in as many of this years Thundersport GB Championship as is possible, and unfortunately I will have to miss this years Tandragee 100 races at it clashes with round three at Snetterton on the 4th and 5th of May, with a free practice also at Snetterton on Saturday the 3rd, the same day as Tandragee.

I have also submitted an entry for the Belfast and District Easter Monday meeting at Kirkistown where I will ride in the Supersport 600 races on the Northern Escalator Installations ZX6 Kawasaki, and in the Supertwins Races on the Rod Lee Racing ER6 Kawasaki, before heading to the first National Road Race of 2014, the KDM Hire Cookstown 100 the following weekend".
