Michael Pearson:  "Its been alot better than I was expecting if the truth be told, and I am really pleased about the Superbike practice and end result.    I have bettered my times from 2009, which was my aim, so I hope to be able to maintain that in Saturdays races.    The Supersport 600 class is going to be really tight between about six of us, so a top three would be a real victory for me".

Willis Marshall:  "There was a lot of talent and good machinery out there tonight and Michael has been able to stick with them in both class's.  Hoepfully he will carry that good luck with him on Saturday, but its going to be difficult around this tight and twisty circuit".
